Business Development Specialist


As a business Development Specialist, you should be excellent at negotiating business deals and able to make sound decisions that will benefit the company. Ultimately, an exceptional candidate should have strong business insight as well as demonstrate excellent management, communication, and analytical skills.


·         Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.

·         Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

·         Conducting business analysis to better understand and specify customer needs.

·         Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

·         Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

·         Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

·         Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

·         Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.

·         Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.

·         Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.

·         Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.

·         Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.

·         Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.

·         Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.


Must Have:

·         B.Sc. Degree in software engineering, IT, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar.

·         Minimum 5 years of Extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, better to be in software/IT fields.

·         Great networking skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication.

·         Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.

·         Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

·         Strong organization and project management skills.

·         Strong negotiation skills.

·         Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

·         Excellent organizational skills.

·         Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have:

·         MBA degree.

·         Experience with Odoo ERP system.
